Stir Fry Daylily with Pork and ChiveStir Fry Daylily with Pork and Chive

I love daylily so much that I always keep several packs at home. I use to cook soup with it, now I'm trying to see if I can cook it in different ways.

Ingredients:

daylily, Chinese chive, pork, dried red pepper, seasoning.

Method:

1. Soak daylily with water for several hours, then rinse with running water.

2. Cook daylily in boiling water for several minutes, rinse, squeeze, then tear off the hard stem from daylily.

You can cut daylily short if you want to. I didn't.

3. Chop pork into long thin strips, then mix with a little bit cooking wine and vinegar, set aside.

4. Clean chive, then cut into inch-long strips.

5. Rinse dried pepper, then cut short with scissors.

6. Heatup skillet, add cooking oil, cook pork until color changed, add soybean oil, mix well, transfer to plate.

7. Add oil to skillet again, add dried pepper to pan, cook until you can smell pepper, then add daylily to pan, cook for several minutes.

8. Add pork and chive into pan, cook together, add seasoning, mix well. When chive get tender, done.

I only used salt, black pepper and a little tiny bit sugar.
