When I saw this type of cookie for the first time, I was shocked. I never thought cookie and candy can get together, and can be so cute.
Ingredients: 2 sticks (226 gram) butter, room temperature 40 gram (1 egg) egg white (large) 3 gram salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 300 gram all-purpose (cake) flour several hard candy some dessert sprinkle
Method: 1. Mix butter and sugar powder, mix well. 2. Add egg white into butter mixture, mix well. 3. Add vanilla extract into butter mixture, mix well. 4. Mix flour and salt, then add to butter mixture, make a dough. 5. Wrap the dough with plastic wrap, put into refregerator, cool for about an hour. 6. Roll the dough into 1/8 inch thick, cut into shapes you like. 7. Preheat oven at 365 degree. 8. Transfer cookies to baking sheet. 9. cut center of cookie out, then bake for 10 minutes. If you like, stick tooth stick into cookies before you put them in oven. 10. Adjust oven to 300 degree. 11. Grate candy into tiny pieces, put in center of cookies, bake long enough to melt candy. 12. Spinkle the dessert sprinkle when candy's still melt, then transfer cookie to cooling rack. Let cookie cool completely.
