One of my co-worker bought some snack. She told me that those snack doesn't have a flavor at all, not salty, not sweet. So I took it home, re-cook, now they have a nice flavor to snack.
Ingredients: 1 stick (113 gram) butter 3 cups sugar 1 tablespoon syrup 3 tablespoon water some nuts (snack) 1 teaspoon baking soda
Method: 1. Put foil on top of a large baking sheet, set aside. 2. Set sauce pan on low heat, melt butter. 3. Add sugar, water and syrup to pan, adjust heat to medium high, melt sugar. 4. When sugar turns brown and completely melted, adjust heat to low. 5. Add baking soda to pan, mix well. 6. Add some nuts to pan, mix well. Add more if needed. Don't over add, but make sure all the nuts are surround by melted sugar (caramel). 7. Quickly transfer the brittle to foil, flat it as fast as you can. 8. When brittle's completely cool, separate into pieces.
