Stir Fried Rice Wrapped in Laver and EggStir Fried Rice Wrapped in Laver and Egg

 

We normally use unfried rice to do the laver wrap. This time I wanted to stir fry some rice, and was thinking if I can add some laver into it. Right before I started cooking, I changed my mind, I wanted to try the rice wrap with stir fried rice.

 

Ingredients:

rice, bacon, mixed vegetable, green onion, laver sheet, egg, seasoning.

 

Method:

1. Chop bacon and green onion into small pieces.

2. Heatup skillet, cook bacon on medium high heat until you have some dripping.

3. Add vegetable in pan, constantly stirring until vegetable's done.

4. Transfer bacon and vegetable to plate, leave dripping in pan.

Stir Fried Rice Wrapped in Laver and Egg5. Add rice in pan, constantly stirring until rice's hot.

6. Add bacon and vegetable back in pan, also add green onion and seasoning, mix well, remove from heat.

I only used salt and sugar for seasoning.

7. Beat eggs with a little bit cooking wine, cook on low heat to get the egg wrap.

One egg = one wrap.

Leave 1 tsb egg for future use.

8. Cut the edge of egg wrap to insure it's the same size of laver.

9. Lay laver on top of egg wrap, then lay rice on top, leave about one-inch-blank at the seam end.

10. Roll rice up, brush egg at the seam end, put roll in pan, set seam down, cook on low heat to insure egg brush's firm.

11. Remove rice roll to chop board, chop to length you like, serve when warm.
