Ingredients:

flour, green onion, yeast, seasoning.

 

Yeast Pancake with Green OnionMethod:

1. Mix yeast with some sugar, then add warm water, let it sit for a while.

2. Add flour to yeast mixture, add warm water if needed, to make a soft smooth dough. Set dough aside until dough get twice bigger.

Yeast Pancake with Green Onion3. Cut green onion into little pieces, mix with a little bit salt, let it sit for several minutes.

4. Add seasoning to green onion, then add a little bit flour and some cooking oil to make a seasoned mix.

5. Roll the dough into a big sheet, brush the green onion mixture on top.

Yeast Pancake with Green Onion6. Roll the sheet from one end to the other to make a long strip, then cut into several pieces.

7. Pick one piece, seal from the end, then twist and press to a bun shape, brush cooking oil on both side.

8. Heat up the frying pan, adjust to low heat, fry pancakes until golden brown on both sides.

No oil is needed since we already brushed oil on pancakes.

To make the surface crispy, you have to fry them right after you shape them. If you let them rise again, you won't get the crispy surface.
