Ingredients:

1 stick (113 gram) softened butter, 50 gram sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 160 gram cake flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/3 cup jelly.

 

Method:

1. Mix butter and sugar, beat well.

2. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract to butter mixture, mix well.

3. Mix flour and baking powder, then add to butter mixture, mix well.

4. Set dough in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

5. Roll dough into a big piece, brush jelly on top, then roll it up.

6. Set the roll in refrigerator for about 2 hours.

7. Preheat oven to 375 degree.

8. Cut roll into 1/5-inch-thick slices, bake for about 20 minutes or the edge start changing color.

9. Let cookie completely cool on wired rack.
