Cheese Bread Stick
Ingredients:
Dough:
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour,
1 tsp salt,
1 Tbsp. sugar,
1 Tbsp. yeast (1 pkt),
1 cup warm water,
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 cup shredded cheese.
Topping:
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing,
1/8 tsp. salt,
1/4 tsp. garlic powder,
1/4 tsp oregano,
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning,
dash of pepper,
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
12" x 18" baking pan.
Method:
1. Mix yeast and sugar, combine with warm water, mix well, then set aside for several minutes.
2. Add oil to yeast mixture.
3. Mix salt and flour.
4. Add flour to yeast mixture, knead to make a smooth dough.
5. Please dough in a grease bowl, set aside for 30 minutes.
6. Place foil on top of baking pan, then spray the baking pan with non-stick spray.
You don't have to use foil. I did because I didn't want to wash the baking pan.
7. Punch dough down, place on baking pan.
The dough's really easy to handle by hand, so I did not use my roller.
8. Mix everything for topping but the salad dressing.
9. Brush salad dressing on top of dough, then sprinkle the seasoning.
10. Set dough aside for another 30 minutes.
11. Preheat oven to 450 degree.
With this temperature, the surface is really crispy. If you don't like this, you can adjust the temperature to 350.
12. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
I baked 12 minutes.
13. Cut into strips.
